3. What is this Free Trial/Pilot program, and why are you offering it free to new customers?
   
   Mrecord Speech Recognition platform uses state-of-art Machine Transcription technology to convert natural spoken language audio recording into fully formatted highly accurate draft documents. The purpose of this Trial/Pilot study is to demonstrate the speed & accuracy of the Mrecord Speech Recognition platform and determine the efficiencies that can be harnessed by MTSO.
   
   We are offering a 7-day Free Trial to new customers to demonstrate the effectiveness, speed & accuracy of our Speech Recognition Technology. We want you to test it and realize on a first-hand basis the efficiencies that it can garner for everyone.
   
   
4. What should I expect to discover from this trial? what results should I expect to see and what do these results mean?
   
   The sole purpose and intent of this pilot is to demonstrate how Mrecord's Automated Speech Recognition works for a couple of your speakers and to give you a basic understanding of the process of getting your speakers onboard. It is also designed to dispel myths and answer questions about this technology and how this technology would work for you.
   
   As part of your trial, we train (adapt) our automated speech recognition with just 1hour (up to 4hours in some cases) of your speaker's dictation. This is what we call a very basic profile, which is built from very limited speech data. Such a basic profile will generate lower WAR (Word Accuracy Rate) scores when compared with a fully-trained profile. However, delivering very high WAR scores is NOT the intent of the trial NOR can it be achieved in that short a time-frame and, certainly, not with such limited speech data.
   
   It is important to note that Speech Recognition is a continuos learning process, wherein the speech engine slowly learns the speech pattern of every new speaker and rapidly gets better at understanding them accurately. Therefore, the longer the engine is exposed to the speakers dictation, the better it gets at recognizing the speakers dictation & speech.
   
   The WAR scores that you should expect as part of this trial should be about 70% i.e. 7 out of 10 words will be accurately understood and transcribed. WAR scores and MT accuracy scores (as per AAMT guidelines) are two separate things, and shouldn't be compared. As the profile is trained with more data, the WAR scores rise dramatically, in most cases to 95% or higher. Also, as your speakers templates & formatting information is added to the system (this is not included in the scope of the trial) WAR scores get closer to MT accuracy scores.
   
   
5. I am a small MTSO, with less than 100,000 lines per month. Is this program for me?
   
   Yes, Mrecord Speech Recognition Platform works for all MTSOs, big or small. So if you are an MTSO doing less than 100,000 lines of transcription (10,000 minutes of dictation) per month, this technology would be for you.

9. Is there anything that I need to keep in mind when I select speakers for the trial program?
   
   The same rules apply as with manual transcription. Speakers who speak with clear diction and pronunciation, consistent speed, and in quiet environments perform the best with speech recognition as would they with manual transcription.
   
   
10. How many of my speakers will speech recognition engine be able to recognize?
    
    Mrecord Speech Recognition is proven to recognize over 85% of all speakers in any given speaker pool. 11. But will the automatically transcribed document be a 100% accurate?
    
    Mrecord speech recognition is really accurate, but its not a 100% accurate yet. therefore, you will require an MT to review the file to edit the document and ensure its 100% accurate. Mrecord speech recognition is meant to assist not entirely replace a MT and increase the productivity of the MT, since they are spending time doing edits versus typing the entire document.
    
    
12. But will the automated transcribed document be formatted with client specific templates?
    
    Yes, the system will automatically apply any client specific templates or formatting to the document. the result: Mrecord speech recognition gives you a fully-formatted document which is easily editable.
