mscribe FoneDictate - Dictation
Via Telephony
Following feedbacks from our existing client
base and carrying out surveys in the healthcare
community, mrecord has launched mscribe FoneDictate,
a phone dictation service. With FoneDictate
you can dictate using any phone - a regular
telephone, a cordless phone, cellphone, or a car
phone.
FoneDictate, our phone dictation system, allows
users to dictate using a phone. All functions
related to dictation management are to be performed
on the phone keypad - record, edit and manage
files by using the phone keypad. When recording
is complete, FoneDictate routes the dictation
securely to mrecord dictation server via the Internet
for transcription processing. There is no installation
of any hardware or software applications for the
phone dictation system. No overhead costs. You
only need standard regular phones with tone dialing
to use mscribe FoneDictate, phone dictation system.
mscribe FoneDictate - Workflow
The physician when he signs up for mscribe FoneDictate
- Phone dictation system will be provided with
a User Manual. He has to call the allotted number
(a local number as well as a toll free number),
key in his access code, and start dictating. Once
the dictation is complete, the audio file is submitted
to the system. Once submitted, the audio file
is then routed to the Medical Transcription server
and made available for transcription to the medical
transcriptionists almost immediately.
FoneDictate can be used as a stand-alone application
for phone dictation alone, but can be used in
conjunction with mscribe Enterprise Digital Dictation
and Medical Transcription Automation System for
a complete medical transcription automation &
management solution.
